To honor the 56th anniversary of Boris Pasternak’s Nobel Prize, awarded for his legendary masterpiece “Doctor Zhivago”, the Maison Caran d'Ache created a new limited edition writing instrument.

It was kind of a challenge for me to deal with this huge story and to match the historical and cultural context of the novel with the writing instrument’s design by Caran d'Ache. For the visual identity, I preferred to keep the 3 colors of the writing instrument (black, white and gold) and play with the paper and the printing process.
